About Me
My name is Jarrod Zwetow. I am a 25 year old student. I was in the process of starting a company when i ran into some issues. I had problem figure how to market my business and I didn't know what do behind the scenes. I had an opportunity to go back to school, so i decide to go and get duel majors. One in Business Administration and the other in Math. The Business Administration Is to help me with my company, I feel that this route is the best solution to help me figure out how to market, get financing, and to do my own accounting. The Math portion of my major is for me I really love Math and it comes relatively easy for me. I search the a path in trying to find a partner to help me with my company, but i couldn't find anyone that knew what to do or had the same passion as I. I was born and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri. I remember when i was growing up that my father told me that he always dreamed of have a home that was below ground and he wanted it to be power by a wind mill. When my father told me this I just blew it off. It wasn't until later when my friends and I started a small construction company that my interest in renewable energies began. I would look at a home and was amazed on how poorly they were insulated. I thought to my self with all of the technologies today we can't insulate a home so that without your furnace or ac unit running the temperature could stay consistent for longer that two hours. So i began to look into other forms of insulation which led me looking into alternative building stiles, alternative power sources, and, alternative heating and cooling units. I was crazy on how much information was out there but it is not pushed by our big business.
My Vision
My company, I hope to be able to start a company in the Midwest building homes. These will not use the conventional products that are use today. I believe that a home should not just be safe, but also be healthy. The insulation should not be made from fiberglass. A home should have an affordable power source, heating, and cooling unit. The should be affordable to build. These homes should cost less than a conventional home and astatically wouldn't look any different.
